Tell Gov Kitz to join the Petition to Reschedule at Federal Level

Last Wednesday, the Governors of Washington and Rhode Island petitioned the federal government to reschedule marijuana. Subsequently, Vermont’s governor joined the petition.

This creates an opportunity for us to encourage Governor Kitzhaber to join in this effort. His contact information is online here:

Senior Outreach Program

We’d like each of the Clubs to institute a Senior Outreach Program to let Senior citizens know about the OMMP and how it might help them. We might also want to reach out to care facilities who take care of Alzheimer’s patients as well.

We need an integrated system where the private sector produces medical marijuana and dispenses it as well and the public sector regulates quality. We need clear guidelines that are easy to follow so that players know the rules. We need streamlined regulations that allow business to flourish and generate tax revenue.
